RM11E Online Rack/Tower UPS 1–10 kVA

True online double-conversion rack/tower UPS for servers, network switches, telecom, edge IT and critical single-phase loads. RM11E provides pure sine-wave output, 0 ms transfer in online mode, wide input voltage range by model, ECO mode, communication options and hot-swappable battery design on selected models. CE, EMC, LVD and IEC 62040 standards are available by series.

Online-mode efficiency reaches up to 92% on 1-3 kVA models and up to 94% on 6-10 kVA models. ECO mode reaches up to 98% in stable utility conditions to reduce operating cost.

Hot-Swap Battery Options

Internal hot-swappable battery design on 1-3 kVA models supports battery service according to procedure. 6-10 kVA models extend runtime using external RC-series battery cabinets.

Parallel-Capable Models

Parallel-capable 6-10 kVA models support up to 4 units for capacity scaling or N+X redundancy, subject to model configuration and project design.

Scalable Battery Runtime

Internal 12V VRLA batteries are used on 1-3 kVA models. RC-series external battery cabinets extend runtime by model and configuration, sized according to load and backup-time target.

N (neutral) and PE (earth) must remain separate; run a dedicated PE conductor to the earth terminal independently, and do not reverse input L and N.

Can RM11E be used with a generator?

RM11E is the standard online double-conversion rack/tower series with PF 0.9 output across the full 1–10 kVA range. RM11E Elite is the 6–10 kVA high-efficiency option with a 3-Level IGBT inverter and PF 1.0 output (kW = kVA), giving more usable watts per kVA and online efficiency up to 95.5%. Choose the standard RM11E for general rack IT and PF 0.9 loads across 1–10 kVA; choose RM11E Elite when you need unity power factor, maximum usable kW or the highest efficiency in the 6–10 kVA range.
Does RM11E support lithium (LiFePO4) batteries?
The standard RM11E series uses VRLA (sealed lead-acid) batteries – internally on models with a battery compartment and in external RC-series cabinets. For a lithium-first online rack/tower UPS, ATENCO offers the RM11E PRO series (LiFePO4 primary with a built-in BMS), available in 1–3 kVA and 6–10 kVA. Choose the standard RM11E for VRLA projects; choose RM11E PRO when a lithium-first battery system is required.
