Line Interactive UPS 600–3000 VA

Single-phase line-interactive tower UPS with AVR Boost/Buck voltage correction for 110 V and 220 V systems (81–145 VAC / 162–290 VAC input window). LT1E protects desktops, CCTV, NVR, POS terminals, home networking equipment and small IT loads with simulated sine wave on battery, fast static-switch transfer (2–10 ms on 600–2000 VA, 10–13 ms on 3000 VA), cold/DC start and auto-restart on AC recovery. CE, EMC, LVD and IEC 62040 standards available by model.

Line Interactive AVR Boost/Buck Compact Tower Low-Noise Operation

Engineered for Everyday Power Protection

Line-interactive protection for desktops, networking gear, CCTV, POS and small office loads – without the cost or complexity of an online double-conversion UPS.

Built-In AVR (Boost & Buck)

Automatically corrects low and high input voltage (81–145 VAC or 162–290 VAC) without switching to battery, reducing unnecessary battery discharge during mains fluctuations and helping extend battery service life.

Fast Transfer to Battery

Static-switch transfer with simulated sine wave keeps desktops, CCTV, NVRs, routers and POS terminals running through brownouts and blackouts. Transfer time: 2–10 ms on 600–2000 VA, 10–13 ms on 3000 VA.

Cold / DC Start

Start the UPS directly from battery when AC mains is unavailable – single-press DC start. Useful for remote sites, mobile setup, generator-only locations and pre-utility commissioning.

Auto-Restart on AC Recovery

When utility power returns, LT1E automatically restarts, transfers back from battery and recharges the pack – ideal for unattended CCTV closets, telecom cabinets and edge IT enclosures.

USB & RS-232 Management

USB and DB9 RS-232 communication available by model for unattended shutdown software on Windows, Linux, Unix and macOS – simultaneous use supported from 1 kVA upward. Optional modem/LAN data-line surge protection.

Compact, Quiet, Microprocessor-Controlled

Mini-tower design for desk or counter installation. Low-noise operation, 0°C to 40°C operating range, microprocessor control, self-diagnostics on power-up and end-of-life battery alarm.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the most common LT1E line-interactive UPS questions.

What is the difference between a line-interactive UPS and an online double-conversion UPS?
A line-interactive UPS like the LT1E feeds mains power directly to the load through an AVR transformer that corrects under- and over-voltage, only engaging the battery when the input falls outside the AVR window. Output on battery is a simulated (stepped) sine wave with a 2–10 ms transfer time. An online double-conversion UPS such as the TM11E or RM11E rectifies mains to a DC bus and re-inverts it to a pure sine wave continuously, so the inverter is always carrying the load and transfer time is 0 ms.
Is the LT1E pure sine wave?
No. The LT1E outputs a simulated (stepped approximation) sine wave when running on battery. This is suitable for SMPS-powered desktops, NVRs, routers, POS terminals and most small-office IT equipment, but is not appropriate for sensitive equipment that specifies pure sine wave input. For pure sine wave output, choose an online double-conversion model: TM11E (tower) or RM11E (rack).
Which applications is the LT1E NOT recommended for?
The LT1E is line-interactive with simulated sine wave output, so it should not be specified for: medical, pharmacy and laboratory equipment that requires pure sine wave input; equipment manuals that explicitly require “pure sine wave” or “online double-conversion”; sensitive analytical instruments, MRI / CT / ICU peripherals and pharmacy refrigerators; PFC-input enterprise servers that mis-detect stepped waveforms as power events; laser printers, hair dryers and other high-inrush domestic appliances; and loads needing extended runtime via external battery cabinets (not supported on LT1E). For these workloads, choose TM11E (tower) or RM11E (rack) online double-conversion — pure sine wave output, 0 ms transfer time, SNMP / network management and external battery extension are available on those series.
What is AVR Boost and Buck?
AVR stands for Automatic Voltage Regulator. The LT1E uses an auto-tap transformer that “boosts” (raises) low input voltage and “bucks” (lowers) high input voltage to keep output within a tight window – all without engaging the battery. This means the VRLA battery is preserved for actual outages instead of cycling every time the mains sags or surges, extending battery life to a typical 3–5 years at 25°C.
Does the LT1E support external battery cabinets?
No. External battery expansion is not supported on the LT1E series. Internal VRLA batteries (12 V / 7–9 Ah) are sized per model and replaced as a complete set. If longer runtime is required, choose a higher-capacity LT1E SKU or move to the TM11E / RM11E online series, which support external battery cabinets for extended runtime.
Can the LT1E be used for CCTV, NVR or NAS?
Yes. The LT1E is well-suited to CCTV / surveillance loads (IP cameras, DVRs, NVRs, video monitoring stations) and home or small-office network storage (Synology, QNAP, TrueNAS). Simulated sine wave output is compatible with the switched-mode power supplies in these devices, transfer time of 2–10 ms is fast enough to keep them online through brownouts, and auto-restart on AC recovery means unattended cabinets recover without intervention.
