What is RM11E Elite?

What is the difference between RM11E and RM11E Elite?
The standard RM11E is the 1–10 kVA online rack UPS range, typically with PF 0.9 output. RM11E Elite is the higher-performance 6–10 kVA rack range with PF 1.0 output, higher efficiency and advanced 3-Level IGBT architecture. For standard rack UPS projects, RM11E is suitable; for PF 1.0, higher-efficiency or more demanding rack applications, RM11E Elite is the better choice.
Does RM11E Elite support lithium batteries?
RM11E Elite is mainly positioned for VRLA battery configurations, with LiFePO4 lithium available by configuration. For a dedicated lithium rack UPS with integrated LiFePO4 battery design and intelligent BMS, ATENCO offers the RM11E PRO series – the correct lithium rack UPS platform for projects requiring longer battery service life, lighter battery packs and lithium battery management.
What is the difference between RM11E Elite and RM11E PRO?
RM11E Elite is a PF 1.0 high-efficiency online rack UPS using VRLA battery configurations. RM11E PRO is the lithium version, designed around LiFePO4 battery systems with intelligent BMS monitoring. Choose RM11E Elite for PF 1.0 rack UPS with VRLA batteries; choose RM11E PRO when the project specifically requires lithium battery technology.
What is the difference between RM11E Elite and TM11E Elite?
RM11E Elite is the rack/tower format for 19-inch rack installations. TM11E Elite is the tower format for floor-standing installation. Both are suitable for PF 1.0 online UPS applications, but the correct choice depends mainly on installation space, rack requirement, battery configuration and service access preference.
Can RM11E Elite be installed as both rack and tower?
Yes. RM11E Elite supports rack/tower installation by model and configuration. It can be installed in a 19-inch rack cabinet or used in tower format with the proper mounting accessories.

Does RM11E Elite provide zero transfer time?
Yes. RM11E Elite uses online double-conversion VFI topology, so the load is continuously supplied by the inverter during normal operation. This provides 0 ms transfer time between mains and battery operation.
Does RM11E Elite support external battery cabinets?
Yes. RM11E Elite can support internal and/or external VRLA battery configurations depending on model and project requirement. Runtime depends on UPS capacity, load level, battery quantity, battery Ah rating, battery condition and site temperature.
Can RM11E Elite be used for long backup time?
Yes, but for long-runtime projects the battery configuration must be sized carefully. ATENCO can calculate the required external battery cabinets based on load in watts, required backup time, DC bus configuration, battery Ah rating and battery discharge data. For very long backup time, lithium or larger external VRLA systems may be more practical.
Does RM11E Elite support SNMP monitoring?
Yes, SNMP monitoring is available by configuration. RM11E Elite can support remote monitoring for UPS status, alarms and event notifications through the compatible communication card or monitoring accessory. RS-232, USB, EPO, dry-contact and relay options may also be available depending on model and project setup.
