Recommended: TM31E / RM31E
Next check: tower or rack, battery runtime, monitoring
Three-Phase (3:3)
Use when: facility, data-room, industrial or infrastructure loads are true three-phase.
Recommended: TM33E 10–40 / TM33E 50–200 for tower 3:3 UPS; RM33E for rack-mounted 3:3 UPS
Next check: capacity, parallel, LBS, VRLA / LFP
Transformer-Based Isolation

Regenerative / energy-feedback loads such as CT machines, elevators, semiconductor cutting machines and motor-driven equipment with front-end feedback inverters require ATENCO engineering review before UPS selection.
Choose the Right Battery Approach
ATENCO supports VRLA and lithium / LiFePO4 battery approaches depending on UPS platform, runtime target, BMS requirement and project configuration.
VRLA (lead-acid)
Proven, cost-effective battery backup for most ATENCO single-phase, three-phase, transformer-based and modular UPS platforms. Suitable for standard backup-time requirements and external battery cabinet designs.
Applies to most ATENCO UPS ranges by model / configuration.
Built-in battery
Internal battery designs reduce footprint and simplify deployment where compact installation or standard runtime is required.
LT1E / LR1E, TM11E by model, RM11E by model, RM11E PRO, TM66E Compact 30–75
External battery cabinets
Scalable external battery cabinets support longer runtime, larger UPS capacity and project-specific battery sizing. Battery quantity, Ah rating and charger settings are selected according to load and backup-time target.
TM11E / RM11E by model, TM31E / RM31E by model, RM33E, TM33E, TM33-ET, TM66E Modular platforms
Lithium / LFP
Lithium / LiFePO4 battery systems support longer service life, smaller footprint and BMS-based battery supervision where the UPS platform and project design support lithium integration.
RM11E PRO; TM33E 50–200 by project; TM66E 40–600 by project; TM66E Large Modular by project
Battery quantity, runtime, charging current, cabinet design and BMS integration are sized by ATENCO engineers according to load, target backup time, UPS platform, battery chemistry, site temperature and project configuration. Lithium / LFP support is series- and project-configuration dependent; not all UPS ranges support lithium batteries.
Redundancy & Monitoring Strategy
Design for availability and visibility – parallel redundancy, dual-bus synchronization and the right communication interfaces.
Parallel & N+X
Parallel operation supports capacity expansion and N+1 / N+X redundancy on selected three-phase and modular UPS series, including TM33E, TM33-ET, RM33E and TM66E platforms, by model and configuration.
LBS / Dual-Bus Synchronization
Load Bus Synchronization helps keep independent UPS output buses phase-aligned for dual-bus, STS-supported or coordinated multi-system designs, available on selected RM33E, TM33E, TM33-ET and TM66E configurations.
SNMP / Modbus / BMS
SNMP cards such as TM550 / TM220, RS-485 / Modbus RTU and BMS integration support monitoring, event alarms, network visibility and shutdown-software functions where supported by the UPS series, card model and project configuration.
Dry Contact, EPO / REPO & Generator Compatibility
Dry-contact signalling, EPO / REPO shutdown interfaces and Power Walk-In / wide-input designs support alarm integration, emergency shutdown and generator-backed operation when the generator is properly sized and configured.
