PF 1.0 Output Online Double-Conversion VFI Parallel up to 4 Units 7-inch TFT Touchscreen by Model

Engineered for 3:3 Mission-Critical Power

Transformer-less online double-conversion three-phase UPS architecture for data centers, industrial automation, healthcare facility IT, telecom and critical infrastructure requiring regulated three-phase output.

3-Phase Input / 3-Phase Output (3:3)

Accepts 380 / 400 / 415 Vac three-phase input and delivers regulated 380 / 400 / 415 Vac three-phase output with ±1% voltage regulation for data-center IT, industrial automation, telecom, healthcare facility IT and critical infrastructure loads.

Online Double-Conversion VFI

Transformer-less online double-conversion architecture with IGBT rectifier, IGBT inverter and DSP digital control provides regulated pure sine-wave output and 0 ms transfer time between online and battery operation. The internal static bypass transfers the load according to configured bypass limits and UPS operating conditions.

PF 1.0 Output & High Efficiency

Output PF 1.0 provides full usable kW capacity. Online efficiency reaches up to 94.5% by model, while input PF ≥0.99 and input THDi ≤3% at linear load help reduce upstream current demand and harmonic loading.

Wide Input Range & Generator Compatibility

The 10–30 kVA models support an operating input-voltage range of 208–478 Vac; the 40 kVA model supports 323–478 Vac, according to load and operating conditions. Supported input-frequency windows are 45–55 Hz for 50 Hz systems and 54–66 Hz for 60 Hz systems. The UPS can be used with a properly sized generator, subject to generator voltage regulation, frequency stability, load-step response and UPS charging-current settings.

Parallel Capacity & N+X Redundancy

Up to four matching TM33E units can be configured in parallel for capacity expansion or N+X redundancy, subject to model compatibility, approved parallel accessories, matching firmware and project commissioning.

7-inch TFT Touchscreen & Communication Options

A 7-inch TFT touchscreen provides local monitoring, operating status and configuration on selected models. Intelligent communication slots support approved SNMP and relay-card options for remote monitoring, event signalling and network-management or building-management integration, depending on model and configuration.

TM33E 10–40 kVA 3:3 UPS FAQ

Answers about TM33E three-phase input / three-phase output tower UPS architecture, 10–40 kVA capacity, PF 1.0 output, parallel operation, battery runtime and monitoring options.

What does TM33E mean?
TM33E is a 3:3 online three-phase tower UPS, meaning it accepts three-phase input and delivers protected three-phase output. The 10–40 kVA range is designed for data centers, industrial automation, telecom switching, healthcare facility IT and critical infrastructure projects with three-phase critical loads from 10 to 40 kW at PF 1.0.
What is the difference between TM33E 10–40 kVA and TM33E 50–200 kVA?
Both are TM33E three-phase tower UPS systems with PF 1.0 output. The 10–40 kVA range uses a compact platform with parallel operation up to four units for small and medium data centers, industrial sites and infrastructure projects. The 50–200 kVA range uses a higher-capacity platform for larger data centers and mission-critical infrastructure. Choose the 10–40 kVA range for projects requiring up to 40 kW per UPS unit; choose the 50–200 kVA range for higher individual capacity or larger system requirements.
What is the difference between TM33E and TM31E?
TM33E is a three-phase input / three-phase output UPS, also called 3:3 UPS. TM31E is a three-phase input / single-phase output UPS, also called 3:1 UPS. Choose TM33E when the protected load requires 380 / 400 / 415 Vac three-phase output; choose TM31E when the site supply is three-phase but the protected loads require 220 / 230 / 240 Vac single-phase output.
What capacities are available for TM33E 10–40 kVA?
TM33E 10–40 kVA is available in 10, 15, 20, 30 and 40 kVA models. A 25 kVA model is not part of this range; the next standard rating above 20 kVA is 30 kVA. In PF 1.0 configuration, the UPS provides matching kW output capacity: 10, 15, 20, 30 and 40 kW. Internal-battery or external-battery configurations are available by model.
Can TM33E 10–40 kVA run on a generator?
Yes. TM33E supports a wide input voltage window – 208–478 Vac for 10–30 kVA models and 323–478 Vac for 40 kVA – with 45–55 Hz / 54–66 Hz auto-sensing input frequency. This makes it suitable for generator-backed sites and unstable utility conditions when the generator is properly sized. Input PF ≥0.99 and input THDi ≤3% help reduce upstream electrical stress.
Can TM33E 10–40 kVA be paralleled for redundancy?
Yes. Up to 4 TM33E 10–40 kVA units can be configured in parallel for capacity expansion or N+X redundancy, subject to model configuration and project design. Parallel cabling and commissioning must follow the installation procedure.
What battery runtime options are available for TM33E 10–40 kVA?
TM33E 10–40 kVA supports internal or external VRLA battery configurations by model. S models use an internal battery compartment by configuration, while L models use external TC-series battery cabinets for longer runtime. Battery quantity, DC bus voltage, cabinet model and runtime are selected according to UPS capacity, load level and target backup time. For exact battery counts and cabinet selection, ATENCO engineers size the battery system by project.
What monitoring options does TM33E 10–40 kVA support?
TM33E supports local and remote monitoring through RS-232, USB, RS-485 / Modbus RTU, dry-contact signalling, EPO / REPO and intelligent-slot communication by configuration. An optional compatible SNMP card provides network monitoring, web access, event notifications and NMS or building-management integration. Relay-card options support external alarm signalling, while the 7-inch TFT touchscreen provides local system monitoring and configuration.
Is TM33E 10–40 kVA transformer-based or transformer-less?
TM33E 10–40 kVA uses a transformer-less architecture. Projects requiring galvanic isolation should be evaluated using the TM33-ET transformer-based range or a separately engineered isolation-transformer solution, depending on the required input/output arrangement and project specification.
Which applications are not suitable for TM33E 10–40 kVA?
TM33E is not suitable when the protected load requires single-phase output; use TM31E 3:1 tower UPS or RM31E 3:1 rack UPS instead. It is also not suitable where only single-phase input power is available; use the TM11E or RM11E single-phase online UPS series. For projects requiring more than 40 kVA per UPS unit, select the TM33E 50–200 kVA range. Medical, galvanic-isolation or other certification-specific projects must be reviewed against the project's electrical, isolation and compliance requirements.
